Our combined Day Rover Tickets and Cream Tea in a box is the perfect opportunity for a relaxing full or half-day out on these special occasions: Father's Day 15 June; Seniors Day 29 June; School Holidays 03, 07 and 21 August; Seniors Day 05 October 2025.
You can travel on all train services throughout the day (or on as many as you choose!) and also enjoy a Cream Tea in a box served at your reserved seats in the train restaurant at the times shown below.
Our volunteer stewards will be delighted to welcome you onboard and serve your Cream Tea in a box together with your choice of tea, coffee or soft drink. Sit back, relax and enjoy your visit and watch the steam lazily curl past your window as the lovely views gradually open out to reveal the Vale of Aylesbury and Whiteleaf Cross in the distance. Tickets & Price:
Day Rover Ticket and Cream Tea in a box - adult £23.50, concession £21.50, resident £18.50, child (under 16 years) £9.50.
Dad on Father's Day £15.50, 60+ years on Seniors Days £14.50.
Menu:
• One scone and finger of shortbread with accompanied strawberry jam and Roddas cornish clotted cream - served in a box
• Tea or coffee service, or soft drink
Further Details:
1. Tickets must be booked - reservations will close when the tables are full, or the previous Thursday at 18.00
2. No further discounts or concessions in the train restaurant
3. Unfortunately we are unable to provide for any special dietary needs
4. Wheelchair space is not available in the train restaurant - for information please call 07979 055366 (10.00 - 16.00)
5. Only assistance or guide dogs are allowed in the train restaurant.

Although we will make every effort to provide the services shown and ensure that steam locomotives are available, we cannot guarantee this.
The company therefore reserves the right to substitute with a diesel locomotive and to alter or cancel the timetable without prior notice and accept no liabilities for any loss or inconvenience caused.
